About us

Forgotten Treasures Animal Rescue is a nonprofit, foster-based organization dedicated to saving the lives of neglected, abandoned, and at-risk animals throughout Oklahoma. We believe every animal deserves love, safety, and a forever home, no matter their age, breed, or story.

Our Story

Founded in 2017 by Christine Hyde, Forgotten Treasures began as a small network of animal lovers determined to make a difference for those who couldn’t speak for themselves. What started with a few rescues and a handful of fosters has grown into a full community effort, connecting volunteers, donors, and adopters across the state to help animals in need.
